“Wisdom Keepers are the guardians of the ancient knowledge of the roots of the Planet, those who maintain the balance of the energy of Mother Earth by making offerings and keeping contact and communication going with the sacred elements for the continuation of life on this planet. They are like heroes for humanity, and are helping us all remember where we come from.” Oscar Raiz de la Tierra.
Each day of the festival will begin with the ancient Ayurvedic tradition of Agnihotra at sunrise. There will be a sacred fire burning throughout and altars to make offerings to the other elements.
We are honoured to be working in partnership with The Wisdom Keepers project in our ceremonial offerings and indigenous teachings. Wisdom Keepers is a global initiative that brings together elders and initiates from indigenous communities around the world to share their wisdom and rekindle traditional methods and techniques at festivals and gatherings across the earth.
The purpose of the Wisdom Keeper project is to facilitate spontaneous and profound shifts by enabling global audiences to appreciate and understand traditional wisdom ways as holistic and comprehensive cosmologies, philosophies and worldviews with immediate and relevant application in their own lives and societies.
We are deeply honoured that the Wisdom Keepers below from the first nations people of Bali, Canada, Mexico, North America and Columbia will be sharing their knowledge in talks, healings and ceremony throughout the five days of the festival.
