In the first year we are limiting participation to 500 people. We believe in the power of small gatherings to initiate big changes. We are also mindful of respecting the local community and land by limiting our impact.
Kids are the voice of the future, from whom we have much to learn, and we welcome families and the participation of kids of all ages. Kids are free from 0-4 and kids from 5-14 have reduced price tickets.
Depending on your passport there are three options to enter Indonesia that apply to most travelers that come for tourist or social purpose only.

- Visa on Arrival
(35US$, 30 days valid, extendable (once for 30 days)
- Visa needed
(apply abroad before arriving in Indonesia)

We cannot offer refunds on tickets but you can change the name on your ticket.
We have a volunteer program in place but it is now full for 2017.
Most importantly an open mind, ready to learn and teach. Other useful things will be a notebook and pen/pencil, flashlight, waterproof (we can get heavy short rainfall bursts in April), and a plug adaptor for Indonesia. A water bottle would also be good so you can fill up from the water filters on site. Please note that plastic is banned on site so please avoid bringing plastic bottles if you can.
During Nyepi Day, an important religious day in Bali , which falls on March 28th, visitors and the public are not allowed to leave (or arrive) the premises of hotels from 6am to 6am the following day; all public activities will cease, hotels remain operational with limited staff; the airport will not operate any flights.
